A company was recommended to us and that was a complete waste of money BUT we called The Culligan Man and I can tell you MATTHEW is your man ! We learned so much from him and his attention to detail in solving our water issues and educating us was over the top . He made the entire process seamless and we now have a water filtration system in our home that solves the iron , calcium, hard water and reverse osmosis for drinking water in place !The Best Part … Super Crazy Affordable.. you gotta love that ! Matthew Elms......All I can do is say THANK YOU and WOW. After my well pump blew and was replaced 2 1/2 yrs ago, I now had disgusting water. It was dark, with iron, manganese, sediment and the stains on all fixtures were almost black,....and the smell? it could not have smelled worse. So...the saga of trying to find out what to do to have potable water began. After a month of running water almost constantly, a water system company was recommended by the Well guys and a small iron filter, sediment filter and carbon filter in my whole home filter was installed. I was assured the chosen system would be adequate for 1 person....it was NOT. Repeatedly they came and changed the filters for $500.....and still the water was unusable. No laundry, dishwasher, showers, bringing in bottled water for basic necessities.......Going forward. I contacted 4 different companies for in home water testing and quotes on systems. One was the original company who now wanted to add $5,000 more in equipment on top of the already $2000 stuff they already had here. Not convinced. SAD SONG over....I contacted Culligan Barrie because I was told they were very experienced in dealing with well water. Matthew showed up and my faith was restored. Matthew couldn't have been more professional, kind, honest, extremely patient, and most important.....very knowledgeable. He tested my water and explained the whole process to me while I watched and he knew what had to be done. He even spoke to my son on the phone to go over the plan and together we had a lot of confidence in the system he recommended. I accepted his proposal on the spot. I am 100% happy with the Max Air iron filter, new water softener, and RO system at the kitchen sink. He discovered that the previous system was not installed in the correct order so whatever was in my well water was going to the hot water tank before being removed and reacted to the anode....so he solved that issue too. I have complete faith in Matthew, and Culligan you are blessed to have him represent you. The system was installed 1 week later by Kyle and he was great . The horrible smell was immediately GONE, and over a few days the water was clear. Beautiful!!! 2 weeks after installation, Matthew came to retest the water....GREAT RESULTS. He explained how the whole system worked, even video taped him explaining it and how to change the one filter in the sediment filter we were able to use from the first company if we want to do that part ourselves. I am on a rental plan which includes yearly maintenance, salt and delivery, and service calls in between if needed. I am finally opening my taps and enjoying potable water. 2.5 yrs of a nightmare is over. Thank you so much Matthew for bringing peace to my situation. Absolutely amazing service from the Culligan Team. Matt was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and lead me to exactly what we needed and didn’t oversell a thing. A true sales professional. His Team at the office was on the ball the schedule the install timely and work around my schedule. The installer himself (Kyle) id an awesome guy and did great work and helped explain it all. We had a wonderful experience with Matthew at Culligan Water Barrie. We initially contacted him in 2024 to request a water test, and based on his recommendations, we decided to purchase a water softener system. His service was professional, knowledgeable, and dependable. Matthew patiently explained the various water treatment options and ensured that the installation was flawless and the system was operating perfectly. We are very pleased with the high quality of our clean water.This year, in 2026, we noticed an unpleasant odor, similar to that of a raw egg, emanating from our water. We reached out to Matthew again, and after testing our water, he suggested installing an additional system designed to remove gas from the pipes, effectively purifying the air in the water. Following the installation of this system, the odor has completely disappeared. Matthew even returned a few days later to re-test the water and demonstrate the improvements, which we had already noticed and appreciateI definitely recommend Culligan and definitely recommend Matthew as a consultant if you have any issues with your water. We recently got a new carbon tank, water softener and Big Blue filter system. We had a previous bad experience putting a water softener in our home so it was a relief when Matthew arrived and almost instantlly put our minds at ease. He was patient, knowledgable and professional during his visit. The difference in our water is now quite noticable. It truly is softer! We only wish that we had found Culligan sooner.

I have a cottage up north which I love more than anything. The water always smelt like eggs and was tinted yellow. Now I was ok with it, what ever doesn't kill you but my fiance low key hated it and it effect her time up here. We called Matthew and not only did he come in and fix the smell and colour he spent the time walking me through why and how these items fixed the smell and colour and how to maintain it. He even helped trace my water lines so I could reverse osmosis both my fridge line and sink in one shot. Now my fiance is way less dehydrated when she is up here.

I’ve been using Culligan RO water from last 10days, and the water quality has been excellent. The taste is clean, fresh, and much better compared to normal tap water, making it great for both drinking and cooking.What I liked most is the purity and quality of the water. One thing I didn’t like is that the standard filter provides only around 6 litres of water, which can be a bit difficult when you have more guests at home.Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service provided by Matt, and I would definitely recommend Culligan RO water to anyone looking for safe and refreshing drinking water.

Got a new whole house well water filtration system installed by Culligan. It took out the color and smell from our water. And the reverse osmosis drinking water is perfect.Our rep Matthew is top notch. He ran tests on our water at different stages in front of me and explained everything along the way. He has kept in contact throughout the process, and went above and beyond to help the install go smoothly in tandem with some basement waterproofing we had done at the same time. And he recently came back to ensure the system is running properly, again showing me how it all works and explaining things along the way.It's expensive but such a worthwhile investment in my opinion. Glad we went with such a good company!

We recently had a water system installed and couldn’t be happier with the experience. When we moved into our new home, there was a Culligan water system already in place but we didn't know exactly how it was being used. We also noted that the water had a very distinct, unpleasant odour. We contacted Culligsn and were assigned Matthew. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and explained everything clearly when he came to visit us on our initial consultation. After several water tests and reviewing our existing system , he offered us suggestions to make the system more effective. We had high levels of iron and Matthew proposed an iron filter.On install day, Matthew even came back with the technician, Kyle, who was also knowledgeable and efficient, to make sure we understood how the system was running. He also set up the systems for regeneration and treatment levels.About a month after the system was installed, Matthew came back, for a third time, to retest the water and make sure that the system was functioning as intended. Matthew was again, very thorough and explained the tests he was conducting and showed the comparison between our current and initial levels of iron and total dissolved solids. He was also very hands on and emptied out the water softener tank of the previous owners' salt that had created a sludge and cleaned out the tank to further improve water treatment.Matthew is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful and has been available whenever we had questions.Thank you, Matthew!

Had great experience with consultation and the installation. Matthew was very knowledgeable and tested our water to find the exact solution we needed. After the installation of the water softer and the RO system he kept in touch to ensure everything was working fine and visited us few weeks after to retest our water. All questions were answered promptly and was always available via phone. Since the installation we are using less soap for laundry and dishwasher. We also drink more water as the water taste much better than what it used to be.Overall great experience

Matthew Webb provided great service, our water softener have stopped working and he was prompt at setting up delivery and installation of a new one. The plumbing was a bit of a disaster and the installer did a great job rerouting it and cleaning it up. Insulation was quick and seamless. Matthew did follow up testing of the water and things are great now. It was also great service when I arranged for the salt delivery, fast and seamless. They are very professional and provide great service.

Matthew was very knowledgeable in the products and tested the before and after installation. After the installation I was still using a brita water filter jug. He asked me if I was still using it, I said we are.Matthew tested it and it turned out I didn’t need that anymore after testing it because the carbon level was higher than the tap ! I ended up recycling it after he came and tested it!
